The Drawback system allows manufacturers and importers to claim a full refund on definitively paid customs duties and taxes for foreign goods entered for manufacturing, processing, tacks-on, or repair. The regime requires maintaining regular, document-supported accounts for auditing. Re-exportation of the finished product must take place within two years from the release date, extendable for another two years upon approval from the Minister of Finance.
